We help emergency and disaster medicine centers to equip themselves with ambulances, TPMR vehicles (Transport of People with Reduced Mobility), all-terrain vehicles for the transport of medical personnel during their missions in the deoccupied territories, as well as with medical equipment and consumables.
In the medical training center in Lviv, supported by AMCFU, emergency doctors from several regions benefit from additional training modules to improve their interventions in times of war.
During our last mission to Ukraine, we visited the Emergency and Disaster Medicine Services of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Balakliya (deoccupied city in the Kharkiv region) and Lviv. Exchanges that only strengthened our determination to support them.
Our current projects for Emergency Medicine:
– Medical training
– Assistance to units that intervene during
disasters or following the liberation of territories
– Search for funding for the purchase of 4 type C ambulances for the emergency medicine of Chernihiv
– Franco-Ukrainian interprofessional exchanges.

Following the Russian invasion, Ukraine has become the most mined country in the world.

1/3 of the territory is potentially contaminated by dangerous and explosive objects from the fighting, mines and unexploded ordnance.
185 civilians killed and several hundred injured following mine explosions*
400,000 explosive elements neutralized by the pyrotechnic teams of the Emergency Situations Service (DSNS).
*In 2022, statistics of liberated territories
DSNS of Dnipro intervenes in bombing zones and their fleet of equipment and vehicles has been the target of bombings.
Our working meeting allowed us to discuss the functioning and needs of the service and validate the provision of a 4×4 ambulance for the demining teams. The search for donations and funding for reinforced protective equipment was also discussed.
To compensate for the lack of ambulances adapted to the terrain and operating conditions, the AMCFU provides the demining teams with equipped 4×4 ambulances, in order to make the medical team of deminers more operational and to improve the evacuation capacities of civilians living in these areas.
Nine new 4×4 ambulances (1 Ford Ranger and 8 Toyota) were purchased by AMCFU for the medical services of deminers.
Last December, this service lost its medical crew when the ambulance hit a mine during a mission in the liberated territories of the Kherson region. We responded as a priority to their request for help by providing an ambulance adapted to the conditions of use.
