Funding Search for Neonatal Resuscitation Systems
For over a year, the Dnipro region, which borders Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporozhye to the east, has become a place of reception and transit for Ukrainians fleeing the war. Currently, it is home to 393,000 displaced persons, while 41 of its hospitals and medical centers have been destroyed or severely damaged by Russian bombing.
This situation particularly affects pregnant women, who, due to physical and psychological trauma, often give birth prematurely, thus putting their lives and that of their child in danger. To prevent these risks, doctors in Dnipro maternity hospitals need neonatal resuscitation tables to provide intensive care to newborns, including premature babies.
AMC France-Ukraine has identified equipment that is equipped with rapid response radiant heating, an integrated examination lamp, a conduction heat diffusion system and a skin temperature monitoring tool.
This equipment therefore ideally meets the needs of Ukrainian maternity hospitals. However, to purchase, transport and deliver this neonatal resuscitation system (Lifetherm 2002) to the Dnipro maternity hospital, the association once again needs to appeal to your generosity. Your donations, collected via Helloasso, will be used to save the lives of very young children.
