Humanitarian cooperation with the Lviv Regional Council – Summer 2023

The Lviv region hosts more than 1.5 million internally displaced persons and is a key center for the treatment of the injured, as well as for physical and psychological rehabilitation behind the front lines. Bordering Poland, it also plays an important role in the arrival of European aid. Our warehouse is also located there.

We support hospitals that are overwhelmed with the injured and internally displaced persons, as well as the medical training center located in the region.

Last May, the Lviv regional administration welcomed 35 French paramedics from the collective “Solidarité ambulancière France-Ukraine” (SAFU), which, in collaboration with AMCFU, organizes humanitarian ambulance convoys.

After delivering 18 new ambulances filled with medical supplies and equipment, the French team was received by the president of the Lviv region. They then had the opportunity to visit the call center of their Ukrainian colleagues and compare patient care organization in both countries. They also visited a hospital in Lviv and two new rehabilitation centers, Unbroken and Superhumans.
