Our History
The AMCFU (Aide Médicale Caritative France-Ukraine) initiative was launched in 2014 with the aim of helping to equip small Ukrainian hospitals near the front line to provide the necessary medical care.
Today, AMCFU operates across the entire territory of Ukraine, focusing its efforts on equipping the country’s hospitals and enhancing their capabilities through the provision of medical equipment and supplies. This equipment includes operating tables, lamps, microscopes, coagulators, dental chairs, incubators for newborns, electric medical beds, fluoroscopy machines, and other vital hospital equipment.
The AMCFU organization continuously adapts its actions to meet the most urgent needs and alleviate the suffering of war victims. With the support of healthcare professionals and humanitarian workers, AMCFU has created a network of numerous partners in France and Ukraine, relying on a team of dedicated volunteers and employees, including members of the Ukrainian community in France.
In response to the tragic events following Russia’s large-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, AMCFU intensified its efforts, leveraging its experience and contacts with the Ukrainian administration to provide aid. Its volunteers organize the delivery of humanitarian shipments, collect donations, load trucks, and coordinate these actions with Ukrainian hospitals, ensuring regular deliveries of medical equipment and medications.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, AMCFU’s activity has increased, focusing on addressing urgent needs. The association sends ambulances, supplies, medical equipment, and medical consumables to Ukraine, thanks to donations received from French citizens, companies, and institutions. Due to the generosity of the donors, a large amount of medical equipment has been purchased to treat the victims, including first aid kits, negative pressure wound therapy systems, and orthopedic fixation systems.
In the face of the ongoing conflict and growing challenges, AMCFU remains dedicated to its mission of helping the most vulnerable populations. The organization continues to adapt its actions to meet the most urgent needs in order to alleviate suffering and provide care to victims.

Since 2014, AMCFU has been tirelessly providing medical and humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian population, particularly in regions heavily affected by the war. We strive to improve living conditions and deliver essential assistance to the most vulnerable groups.
AMCFU sends ambulances, specialized medical equipment, and emergency care supplies, as well as European-standard medications, in collaboration with paramedics and doctors from France and Ukraine. The aid is distributed to hospitals with the most urgent needs.
