Over the past three months, no fewer than ten trucks of humanitarian aid, mainly medical, have been sent to Ukraine by AMC France-Ukraine. Our association would like to thank all the donors and partners who made this possible: the Poitiers University Hospital and Maincare, a major digital player in the health sector, the companies Paredes, Piex and Civ16, the humanitarian pharmaceutical association Tulipe, Haddad Brands Europe and the Tournesols d’Ukraine association, as well as our logistical support: HeidelbergCement France, Amazon and Sunagro Ukraine.
For over a year, the Dnipro region, which borders Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhia to the east, has become a place of reception and transit for Ukrainians fleeing the war. Currently, it is home to 393,000 displaced people, while 41 of its hospitals and medical centers have been destroyed or severely damaged by Russian bombing.
This situation particularly affects pregnant women, who, due to physical and psychological trauma, often give birth prematurely, putting their lives and those of their children at risk. To address these risks, doctors in Dnipro maternity hospitals need neonatal resuscitation tables to provide intensive care to newborns, including premature babies. AMC France-Ukraine has identified equipment that is equipped with rapid-response radiant heating, an integrated examination lamp, a conduction heat diffusion system and a skin temperature monitoring tool. This equipment therefore ideally meets the needs of Ukrainian maternity hospitals. However, to purchase, transport and deliver this neonatal resuscitation system, Lifetherm 2002, to the Dnipro maternity hospital, the association needs to appeal to your sense of responsibility again. Your donations, collected via Helloasso, will be used to save the lives of very young children.
