The 10th Emergency Medicine Championship – May 2024
Bohdan BurkoThe AMCFU became the main partner of the Ukrainian Emergency Rescue Championship “Bukovina Medical Rally 2024,” which took place on May 23rd and 24th in Chernivtsi: 26 teams from all regions of Ukraine, 104 emergency responders representing different cities, and more than 500 participants.
The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, opened the opening ceremony. Excerpt from her speech:
“For more than two years, 164 ambulances have been damaged, and 261 vehicles have been completely destroyed.
Tragically, your colleagues have been killed; 42 people lost their lives, and 63 emergency medical professionals have been injured. Your work, even in peacetime, is heroic. And now, you are our heroes, just like the soldiers who protect us.
You care for us and save us, as well as our defenders. Thank you so much for that!”
Championship results:
1st place: Team from the Volyn Regional Center for Emergency and Disaster Medicine
2nd place: Team from the Cherkasy Regional Center for Emergency and Disaster Medicine
3rd place: Team from the Kharkiv Regional Center for Emergency and Disaster Medicine

These sophisticated pieces of equipment, which accurately replicate human body reactions based on programmed scenarios, made the experience both engaging and enriching.
We have reaffirmed our support for medical teams by continuing training sessions and providing assistance with ambulances, medications, medical equipment, and supplies.
